You need to have a variety of < a href= "http://www.inspirationalguidance.co.uk/linkrequest.html">links out there on the net and you can also build them by contacting other website owners - although this can be time consuming.There is one thing you definitely want to be sure of and that is whoever you link to the site is of great quality just like your own. Here are some examples : One way Your content is so great that people are writing about you and linking back to a specific page on your site, blog post or to your main homepage. Great links to have! Two way You contact me and I put your link on my website. You add me on your website. A straight forward swap. Three way I link to you, you link to Fred, Fred links to me. Can get a little complicated but worth doing. Advantage? All 3 of us end up with a one way link. The ultimate best one to have is a one way link from a high ranking authority site back to your website. If you can get a link from a university or other high ranking educational site. A news site (imagine a link from the BBC!) or other high profile website will really help you. Web directories are not the only way to do this.
